NOSE - Sweet Corn, Caramel, Cinnamon PALATE - Slightly viscous mouthfeel with soft notes of vanilla, honey, cinnamon, and caramel. FINISH - Long, with very minimal rye spice. OVERALL - This distillery is doing amazing things with this seasonal bottled in bond series. The nose on this is excellent and the palate is smooth and enticing. I do prefer the Red Corn release to this one, but I believe this one is still worth a buy without question.

Remarkable. Fantastic aroma, and for a BIB, it possesses considerable flavor with a pleasing mouthfeel and body. Sweet oak, smooth cherry, and vanilla. Medium-sweet chocolate. Mild baking spices. A pleasant finish, though not as much rye spice as one might anticipate for a high rye bourbon. This could very well be my top Still Austin selection, and I'm judging from a fresh bottle opening!
This High Rye Bourbon Whiskey begins with a fragrant aroma of grain, wood, fruit, nuts, herbs, and spices. Its rich character then develops notes of white corn and oranges, concluding with a warm, medium-length finish featuring oak, caramel, almonds, and rye.
Solid bottle. The cost was a bit steep at 70.
Pleasant flavor, lighter than I anticipated.
