To commemorate 40 years since its 1982 founding by Jörg Rupf, St. George Spirits offers this anniversary bottling. The distillery is currently led by Master Distiller Lance Winters and Head Distiller Dave Smith. They selected 14 casks from over 600 for this limited edition. The blend uses 100% two-row malted barley with five different roast levels. The whiskeys range from four years old to some of the distillery's earliest aged stock. Barrels used include ex-bourbon and French oak, as well as finishing casks like cognac, apple brandy, umeshu, port, sherry, and Sauternes. Production was limited to 1,982 bottles, with distribution in select US markets beginning in early November 2022. (SRP $500)

A medley of fruit and smoke, with a wide spectrum of tastes! If you manage to acquire their standard single malt, go for it, but this particular expression is truly exceptional.
