Sweet vanilla on the nose. Caramel flavor with a bit of ethanol. The finish is caramel with hints of ethanol and chocolate. It leaves a warm, lingering sensation. Thanks to JT.

About this bottle
Tiburón Rum is crafted at a family-operated distillery situated on the island of Belize. The column-still produced, molasses-based spirit is a composite of rums, each aged for a minimum of 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Subsequently, the selected rums are combined and undergo a secondary maturation period to harmonize before bottling.

This rum possesses a mild sweetness, but is not overtly sweet. It can be consumed on its own or used in cocktails. I find it enjoyable, though I would not make a special effort to acquire it.
I tried the 8-year, and it's very good for the price, around $35. Strong vanilla and caramel flavors. Good stuff.
