About this bottle

The St. Julian winery, located in the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation, also processes apples for cider, with select Golden Delicious and Gala apples being used for this American brandy. All A&G products are distilled using German-designed Carl stills, the industry standard. To achieve its golden color, the spirit matures for a minimum of one year in toasted French oak barrels, featuring an additional toast to the heads. Subsequently, the brandy is briefly finished in a barrel previously used in a Cream Sherry solera, imparting extra color and sweetness.

It lacked a strong apple presence but was still enjoyable.
