Neat. The aroma is bright with oak, fruit (brandy/cognac), caramelized agave, and a very slight hint of vanilla and cinnamon. The taste features agave, white sugar, caramel, oak, and cinnamon. The mouthfeel is quite crisp. It finishes with saccharine, cinnamon, nutmeg, and oak..very autumnal. Those cognac barrels elevate this spirit. It's like mulled wine and agave nectar.. Beautiful.

An intense Agave Spirit from NOM 1137, matured for 2 years in French Oak & Bourbon barrels. It begins aromatically with notes of agave, wood, herbs & spices; develops a rich & full character with hints of vanilla & caramel; and concludes with a long & balanced finish featuring oak notes. May / June 2016 / September 2017
I enjoyed it. Very smooth and mild, with a subtle smoky flavor.
Tastes like a standard, unadorned tequila.
