Master Distiller Germán González created this 100% Highland blue agave tequila. His father founded the Chinaco brand in the 1970s, and Germán continues this legacy with his own brand. Agaves are cooked for 20 hours in autoclaves (industrial pressure cookers) before a double distillation process. The añejo is aged for 20-24 months in used Scotch barrels and is presented in a distinctive bottle resembling an Aladdin lamp. It is additive-free.

Fantastic tequila with caramel, cinnamon, Mexican hot chocolate, cooked agave, cinnamon, vanilla, bananas, coconuts, Cherries, anise, floral, and oak notes. Surprisingly oakier than another spirit.
The best añejo I've encountered so far. Very pleasing. Earthy, smoky, and sweet, with notes reminiscent of whiskey and a hint of rum.
