About this bottle
Saint James Cuvée 1765 commemorates 250 years of rhum agricole production by the distillery on Martinique. The fresh sugarcane juice used is cultivated within the Rhum Agricole AOC on the distillery's Saint-Marie fields. Master blender Myriam Bredas and oenologist Marc Sassier created this anniversary blend by selecting six vintages designed to replicate the flavor profile of the distillery's original rhum style, aged in French or American Oak barrels. The bottle's substantial glass and shape are a nod to historical designs used when rum had to withstand long sea journeys and be stored efficiently in ship holds.
