It's good. The nose has alcohol, maybe a hint of papaya? My apologies for not providing a thorough tasting review, as I consumed it too quickly.

About this bottle
Mezan sources its rums from individual distilleries throughout the Caribbean. This particular rum comes from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana, which manages its own yeast cultivation and utilizes various distillation apparatus. For this expression, the distillate, derived from molasses of estate-grown sugarcane, was processed through a double wooden pot still. It underwent maturation in former bourbon casks, though the bottling date is not specified.

A bit strong, but otherwise interesting and banana-flavored. It has an oily finish. A good spirit to sip on. I'm curious to taste it in a mixed drink.
Strong, somewhat smoky flavor.
