The Lost Explorer Mezcal Salmiana is produced entirely from 100% salmiana agave, harvested when the plants are eight years old. The brand's founders developed this product line in partnership with Maestro Mezcalero Don Fortino Ramos and his daughter Xitlali. The Lost Explorer emphasizes community and sustainability in its production practices, which include a collaboration with the Voice for Nature Foundation, utilization of renewable energy and recycled materials, and a commitment to replanting three agave plants for each one harvested.

Revisiting this older bottle. It's absolutely wonderful. The flavor profile suggests only the purest center cuts were used in its production, with no off-notes from the heads or tails. This demonstrates masterful distilling.
Herbal, zesty, sweet, vegetal. I need more experience with mezcals, will drink more. Very good.
