A potent, mixed rum from the Dominican Republic, made with rums aged 6-10 years in oak. It starts aromatically with hints of sugarcane, wood, nuts, and spices. A rich middle reveals notes of raisins and vanilla, leading to a medium-length smoky conclusion with undertones of oak and almonds. July 2017
This rum is okay, but perhaps too basic. It lacks body and depth, and has a slight burn. The container is more appealing than the contents.
More vanilla on the nose than the palate, yet it's still a commendable rum. Sweetness is well-balanced.
A rather typical rum, with prune notes on the nose. On the palate, caramel and vanilla.
Very light in color. Pleasantly sweet. Rocks.
Wood smoke mixed with vanilla.
