R. Jelinek Cherry Liqueur

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? I only discovered after buying that this contained spirits mixed with fresh cherry juice. It's not clear what the base spirit is, but I'm guessing it's some sort of fruit-based eau de vie. I probably wouldn't have bought it knowing this, but since it's from Bohemia, let's Czech this out. All I can say is that I was pleasantly surprised. This is less about the spirit and more about the alcohol preserving the fresh flavor of the Bohemian cherries. It's an absolute cherry bomb, not artificial or medicinal at all. Mixed with lemon and soda water, it makes a fantastic cocktail. Little high, little low, it's no escape from reality, but it's pretty damn good if you like 🍒
