It evokes the sensation of autumn and a spiced pear cobbler in a glass. Delicious with a pleasant mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet, but not gratuitously so. Drink Ratings 5 = Loved. About this bottle
St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, from the renowned Alameda, California producer, uses its own Pear Brandy as its base. Whole organic Bartlett pears, harvested at peak ripeness, are distilled in copper pot-stills for the brandy. Fruit juice is then added for the liqueur, and the proof is adjusted to 20% ABV.

It's as if someone baked pears with brown sugar and cinnamon and bottled it. The texture in the mouth is excellent (not overly thick or sickly sweet). I've only tried it straight and with vanilla ice cream up to this point, but I'm eager to try it in mixed drinks this autumn.
A refined fruit cordial with an aromatic beginning featuring Bartlett pear and baking spice. Its rich and spicy character continues with cinnamon and clove, culminating in an enduring and strong finish. November / December 2016 / / January / September 2017
It smells and tastes of nicely spiced pear. Moderate cinnamon and allspice without being overwhelming, accompanied by a thick, syrupy mouthfeel. It's excellent mixed with an Irish whiskey for a scone with pleasant autumnal notes.
This liqueur embodies the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas. It features delightful notes of cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and ginger. It's fantastic served over vanilla ice cream, stirred into tea, or enjoyed as a digestif.
Sweet, spicy, and ripe. Cinnamon, star anise, caramel, and burnt orange rind come together with bruised, cooked pears that are sweet but still have some tartness. Nice!
