Smooth, flavorful rum with minimal burn. It tastes of coffee, molasses, oak, and a hint of vanilla. It's a bit sugary, so it might be too sweet if you prefer a drier palate. It's a delicious straight drink with a full mouth of flavor and a pleasant little afterburn. The color is nearly coffee-dark, making me suspect caramel coloring rather than just barrel aging.
