About this bottle
This rum is one of two expressions in Planteray's Extrême No. 3 Collection, both distilled at Jamaica's renowned Long Pond Distillery in 1996. Long Pond produces various rum styles, or marques, varying in intensity. This HJC bottling exhibits an ester content of 345g/hlap and is described as having a profile rich with spiced notes. It matured for 21 years in Jamaica in used bourbon casks, followed by a final year of aging in France within Ferrand casks. It is bottled at cask strength.
