This rum is pretty good and well-rounded, performing well in mixed drinks. However, considering its scarcity, the effort to find it isn't justified. It's not engaging enough to drink neat and doesn't offer anything unique in cocktails compared to other more compelling rums. Sipping it actually makes it quite astringent, and at times, it had an undesirable burnt popcorn finish. It's definitely not a bad rum, just rather forgettable, which is surprising given how exceptional the 5 Island is.

"Twenty-three different rums from eight distilleries." It seems like a lot of effort to create something that doesn't work. Definitely pass on this one.
