Our monthly date nights are cherished. Although the babysitter costs more than the dinner and movie, the tranquility of a quiet meal is invaluable. Parents, you understand. Tonight's meal was Mexican. A server suggested this to complement the mole dish. Typically, I'm wary of such suggestions, suspecting they're pushing pricier items or slow sellers. This time, however, taking a chance paid off. The aroma isn't my favorite, carrying a distinct sage-like quality. Yet, the taste bursts with minty, grassy notes, underpinned by a sweet, nutty foundation. When paired with the mole sauce, it truly enhances the dish's spices. This excellent sipping tequila gives a whiskey enthusiast like myself reason to pause and appreciate it.
