This was the first spirit sampled last night. I've heard that distillery NOM 1079 is quite popular now, with NOM 1580 and 1079 frequently appearing on Instagram. Upon seeing the bottle, I expressed interest in trying it. This is a fantastic spirit with notes of cooked agave, caramel, chocolate, mango, papaya, and a distinctive earthy, smoky, vegetal, peppery raw agave flavor, complemented by a buttery mouthfeel.
