On one hand, it costs $17. On the other hand, I could put that $17 towards much better bottles. There's nothing inherently wrong with this, and it drinks smoothly and lightly. It's not potent enough to use as a primary spirit in a cocktail, but it's not good enough to drink neat. I don't mind using this as one of several rums in a tiki cocktail or mixed with other spirits, but I'm genuinely unsure how best to use it. I do give credit to Foursquare for releasing a $17 bottle that is unadulterated and still tastes this good, but if your budget allows, I believe you should consider stepping up a tier or two.
