Cruzan's Diamond Dark Rum is a blend of rums aged between five and 12 years, crafted from imported molasses and matured in American oak. Hardy Nelthropp, who served as Cruzan’s Master Distiller from 1959 to 2007, developed this rum, which was introduced to the market in 2013.

While not exactly a premium rum for savoring, it remains a solid everyday choice, even when drunk straight. As is common for Cruzan, it offers tremendous bang for your buck. This would work wonderfully in a variety of cocktails.
