About this bottle
Novo Fogo operates a zero-waste distillery situated near the Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil's Paraná state. Occasional single-barrel cachaça releases are made, but quantities are very limited (204 bottles in this instance) due to evaporation in the hot, tropical climate. Novo Fogo is aged in 53-gallon barrels previously used for Four Roses bourbon, which are sanded and re-toasted. Barrel 152 was aged for three years.
