At the close of 2023, New Riff introduced two eight-year-old whiskeys within its High Note limited edition series, marking the distillery's oldest releases to date. The eight-year-old Malted Rye, crafted from 100% malted rye grain, continues the legacy of a younger malted rye whiskey previously released by the distillery. This non-chill filtered rye is presented at a cask strength of 118.2 proof.

This is the finest bottle I've had from this distillery! If you appreciate their six-year rye, keep an eye out for this one. It has a wonderful aroma, a pleasant sweetness from the malted rye, vanilla, and citrus fruits.
