About this bottle

This offering from independent bottler & blender Buzzard's Roost starts with a five-year-old double-barreled bourbon from Indiana's MGP distillery. The bourbon's mash bill is 74% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. It was subsequently finished in a toasted French Limousin oak barrel and bottled at 105 proof.

Lonnie Woodward 3.0

Nose: Caramel and oak Palate: woody, thin, and short on the finish. An acceptable sipper, but unremarkable.

Clair Murdock 4.0

This is quite good. Spicy and savory fruit and wood notes from the wood.

Noel Carver 3.5

Too much oak. It's pretty smooth though.
