The Wiseman Kentucky Straight Rye

Nose presents abundant dill and sweet floral notes, though not excessively minty. Also detected are substantial rye bread and dough characteristics. Palate offers upfront spice and black pepper, followed by pleasingly funky cereal grains. More dill is apparent. Finish is of moderate duration, featuring additional funky rye bread notes. Excellent for enthusiasts of funky, musty ryes. It retains classic rye elements while offering a distinctive profile worth acquiring!

Finished the bottle without developing a liking for it. I enjoy ryes, but not this one. Tried it neat, and spent the rest of the bottle attempting to mask the musty funk in a sour. No success.

Lacks significant depth for me when drunk straight, but was perfect with coke 😋. Would definitely purchase and recommend again.

Not too strong for a Rye. Great to sip with one ice cube. The herbal notes are spot on, very close to peppermint.

This tastes like corn smells when you're shucking it. My partner and I both had to stop drinking it.
