A vibrant, agave-based spirit created by Master Tequilera Ana María Romero for Mijenta Tequila (Nom 1499) from the Los Altos region of Jalisco. It was produced in stainless steel tanks and aged for about eight months in Symphony Barrels, made from oak sourced from Virginia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Missouri, before being bottled at 40% alcohol by volume. The aroma presents initial notes of cooked agave, nuts, fruits, flowers, earth, and spices. The palate is full and elegant, revealing flavors of coconut, pineapple, maple, and honey, leading to a medium-length, well-balanced finish with hints of oak, almond, nutmeg, chocolate, toffee, and sea salt.

About this bottle
Mijenta Tequila Cristalino is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, fermented without fibers in stainless steel tanks, and twice distilled. It is aged in a blend of new and used American white oak barrels, alongside ex-Sherry casks, in what are called "Symphony Barrels" due to the classical music played during maturation. Prior to bottling at 80 proof, it undergoes filtration through "vegan charcoal" for clarity and is additive-free.
