Buffalo Trace is a favorite, and tequila is loved, so trying this was a must. Oak and pepper dominate, the texture is thin, and while there's a hint of agave scent, I don't find any actual agave taste. It doesn't strike me as tequila. It's decent, and I wouldn't refuse a drink, but I won't be purchasing it again. It's simply not my preference.

The aroma has a touch of citrus. The flavor is rich and buttery with caramel and a hint of smoke. The aging on the buffalo trace is evident at the end. There's minimal burn. A very good reposado!
A clean tequila. Not too much pepper. I really didn't detect any oak or bourbon notes.
Smoky agave, corn with a buttery quality, ash, toasted oak, caramel, and coconut notes; it's distinct.
Pleasant overall taste and very smooth, but the flavor profile felt rather dull.
