Sipping it straight. Appearance is perfectly clear. It leaves prominent trails on the glass. The aroma is gorgeous and layered, revealing abundant cooked agave, exotic fruits, floral citrus notes, earthy minerals, saltiness, zest of lime, plus hints of green botanicals. Texture on the palate is slick. The flavor presents agave sweetness, distinct citrus, hints of tropical fruit, licorice, and spice (both black and white pepper). The aftertaste lasts a good while, with mild sweetness, a touch of black pepper heat, and some sour citrus rind and herbs for a dry conclusion. Intricate and harmonious, with a very pleasing taste. Unsure about retail availability, but it can be found via the internet. The cost is substantial for a blanco, yet justified. A premium item, not mere hype. I would certainly purchase it again.

Abundant vegetal aromas and flavors are present. Fresh agave takes the lead, followed by subtle hints of butterscotch, oak, and dark caramel. Touches of mint, green pepper, black pepper, and toasted marshmallow emerge near the conclusion of the extended finish. We enjoy this neat, as a shot, or for slow sipping. Its significant terroir and delicate flavors would be lost in a standard Margarita or other citrus-forward mixed drinks. We strongly endorse this selection!
A crisp, Agave Spirit crafted by Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero for Mijenta Tequila Nom1499 in Jalisco (Los Altos Southern), produced in stainless steel & bottled at 40% abv. It presents an aromatic beginning with notes of cooked agave, fruits, melons, flowers, herbs & spices; while a full & elegant progression adds notes of cantaloupe, lime, vanilla & honey; leading to a balanced conclusion of medium length with a hint of cinnamon & caramel.
This is among the finest small-batch tequilas I've encountered. It's clean, smooth, with a slight oiliness but no overwhelming tastes. I will certainly purchase it again.
Tasted this in a selection. Among the top Blancos I've experienced. Incredibly smooth, with just a whisper of botanical notes and a unique, slightly sweet earthy taste. Fantastic.
One of the top tequila blancos I've had. It's smooth and silky, with a complex aroma and flavor profile rich in citrus and herbal notes. It has a great mouthfeel and a medium finish.
