About this bottle

An amber-colored orange liqueur, Mandarine Napoléon, is created by blending mandarin orange distillate with cognac. Additional botanicals, such as green tea, cardamom, black tea, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, are also incorporated. While a chemist is credited with developing the recipe for Napoléon Bonaparte, the liqueur was not publicly released until 1892, long after the deaths of both Napoléon and the chemist.

I really like the aromas and scents, but I wish it were less sweet and a bit more tart.

Hollie Burkhart 4.0

Fresh orange with undertones of tea and a finish of eastern spices.
