In summary: Good potential, but an average experience overall due to a harsh alcohol burn. Aroma: By far the best aspect of the spirit. Very sweet, reminiscent of marshmallows. Light scents of wood and floral notes. Taste: Begins with a sweet, lightly floral flavor. Transitions into a pleasant wood and floral taste in the middle, with some alcohol presence. Finishes with a harsh alcohol burn, most flavors are lost, and the burn continues into the aftertaste. It appears to me that the distiller is putting care and effort into selecting ingredients and barrels. Many of the flavors are excellent when present. However, I suspect a significant portion of the heads and tails are included, resulting in a much harsher burn than the spirit deserves.

An exquisite Agave Spirit from NOM 1137. It starts with an aroma of agave, wood, botanicals, and spices, followed by a rich taste of caramel and vanilla, concluding with a smooth, medium-length finish featuring oak, pepper, and chocolate. April 2016 / 2017
