Lodestar Whiskey

A rich, Blended American Whiskey from Lodestar Whiskey Distillery in Los Angeles, California, made with a mix of High Rye Straight Bourbon and American Single Malt Whiskey aged in American oak and bottled at 90 proof. It starts with a fragrant bouquet of grains, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs, and spices; a rich character follows with notes of caramel apple, citrus zest, and rye bread; culminating in a warm, medium-length finish with notes of oak, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

From the Flъзiar Advent 2025 calendar, #20. It has a clear golden color with thin legs. The aroma is of spicy citrus apple. The flavor is bready with spicy fruit. It has a medium-light body with moderate warmth. Scored 8/3/7/4/15 for a total of 3.7

The color is light amber. The aroma of green apple and raw corn is not very appealing, and the flavors of green apple and corn are also not pleasing.

An interesting mix of fruit and spice. A distinctive character.

It's fine, but the nose and finish are lacking substance.
