An intensely sweet aroma, with a whisper of barley but predominantly powerful caramel. Caramel flavors dominate the palate but are less intense than the smell; the body is lighter than I anticipated. It's very sweet, bordering on light, especially compared to their usual robust offerings. A pleasant, light baking spice tingle appears at the end, helping to temper the sweetness, but the overwhelming caramel isn't my preference.
