This seasonal release from Laws Whiskey House is named Centennial Straight Wheat Whiskey Bonded (2024 Release) due to the use of Centennial wheat, an heirloom spring soft white varietal cultivated for the distillery by the Cody family in the San Luis Valley. This bonded wheat whiskey has been aged for a minimum of 7 years and is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).

Smell: abundant red fruit and orange, cherry, and sweet oak Taste: very sweet, the orange comes through nicely with a bit of black pepper. Rye-like without the warm spices, very sweet with a slight tickle of heat Aftertaste: the sweetness quickly disappears to the tingling black pepper and anise, which really lingers for a bit
Very smooth to drink. I truly liked this. A few drops of water really brought out the flavors.
