Lamas 1000 Dias

- Single malt - Single barrel - Sem corante e sem filtragem - Limitada a 300 garrafas - Parceria entre Lamas e Cesar Adames - 1000 dias de maturação - Carvalho americano ex-bourbon Nose: predominantly sweet; vanilla, malt, toasted cereals, soft presence of propolis, light white pepper spice, citrus fruitiness of sweet oranges, canned yellow fruits, loquats, floral, orange blossom honey, white coconut and almost no perception of alcohol. Very aromatic and delicate whisky. Palate: sweet, malt, toasted cereals, a touch of propolis, honey, citrus fruitiness of oranges, good bitterness reminiscent of bitter tea, spicy, white pepper and a little alcohol heat. Palate less intriguing than the nose, but with a very good relationship between both. Finish: short, sweet aftertaste, malty, toasted cereals and with emphasis on the good bitterness and propolis notes which, in turn, were present from the nose. General impressions: light, flavorful and delicately complex whisky. A good example that the Brazilian climate can do with the interaction between whisky and wood. Despite being young, the whisky does not assault the palate and presents itself very smoothly.
