Whiskey Lamas Rarus Single Malt Barrel ex-rum 720 ml. An intensely bright amber color, with no added dye and no chill filtration. Rarus was created to surprise. It has a striking and full-bodied aroma, offering an intense, woody, and gently sweet floral scent reminiscent of nuts and cocoa. Its palate is balanced and powerful, revealing great flavor complexity. Maturation in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels and finishing in American oak barrels previously used for maturing Rum Norma (also made by Lamas Destilaria) provides a velvety and rich sensory experience. Rarus (Latin for 'rare'), is an incomparable single malt with extraordinary refinement due to its finishing in an unusual ex-rum barrel, both signed by a single distillery.
