About this bottle

Flecha Azul, a brand of 100% blue weber agave tequila, was co-founded by Mexican professional golfer Abraham Ancer and entrepreneur Aron Marquez. In 2022, actor and producer Mark Wahlberg became the principal investor. The tequila, produced in Jalisco, Mexico, uses ripe agaves cooked in brick ovens and fermented for 72 hours. Following double distillation, the blanco tequila is rested in stainless steel for two months before bottling.

Donna Woodall 4.0

This Blanco, made with twice distilled liquid cooked in a brick oven and slowly fermented for over 72 hours, is then rested for two months in stainless steel after distillation. This process adds a bit more crispness to the spirit. The aroma presents strong agave, pepper, and smoke with subtle tropical fruit notes. A somewhat potent alcohol vapor scent was present, leading to some astringency. The initial taste has a touch of alcohol, followed by a sweet vanilla coating on the palate. Subtle hints of agave and pepper appear, along with a trace of medicinal character. The finish is robust and astringent. As it airs, smoke notes become more noticeable on the palate.
