About this bottle

The Caravedo Pisco Puro Quebranta is a pisco puro, meaning it is produced using just one of the eight permissible grape varietals for Peruvian pisco. The quebranta grape is utilized for this expression. As quebranta is a non-aromatic varietal, fruit characteristics are subtle. Consistent with all Peruvian piscos, this spirit is distilled to its final proof, with no water added during the process. Its introduction to the U.S. market occurred in May 2015.

Joe Sanchez 5.0

Caravedo Quebranta Puro is a high-quality grape spirit. Puro piscos are made from a single grape type; this one has a medium body with notes of almond and banana. This version is my favorite for making a pisco sour.
