October 2019. Clear, medium gold to amber in color. Bouquet: Intense sweet spice, vanilla, licorice, cinnamon, longan honey, maltose, sweet butterscotch, and cappuccino. Palate: Rich Christmas cake, sweet PX cream Sherry, Palo Cortado, maple syrup, vanilla, sweet spice, and woody oak sweetness. Finish: Superb balance with a sweet maple wood syrup aftertaste. Delicious!

Wonderful aroma and flavor profiles of this Japanese spirit. The bourbon barrel aging imparts some familiar American notes of vanilla and smoke, but its character is substantial like a Japanese whiskey, and it's just smooth enough to be highly pleasing.
Surprisingly complex and full of flavor, medium body, vanilla, oat, lightly floral with a smooth, extended finish
Understated and refined without being too much.
The best whisky I have ever experienced. Exceptionally smooth.
How can this be Bourbon? Is it from Japan?
