Renae Ashworth 2.8

The aroma is dominated by toffee and maple syrup, with undertones of almond. The palate unfolds with notes of dark chocolate and a pronounced nutty flavor layered over oak spice. The medium finish is primarily warmth, but not unpleasantly so, clearly showcasing the influence of the pure barley malt.

Maudie Hand 1.8

Fifty dollars for a pint is outrageous. It's interesting to find an American single malt whiskey like this, and it did open up nicely with a bit of water. Cereal grain and oak were ever-present, with a hot finish. It's good but far too expensive.

Lorena Nagel 1.0

Too expensive & not good enough. The pricing for a half bottle compared to a full bottle is insulting, and not worth the money. It does have some pleasant nutty notes, but this is an underwhelming whiskey.

Katelyn Hackett 4.0

Cinnamon, cherry, and thankfully no metallic notes common in many craft distilleries. I would purchase it more frequently if it were not so expensive.

Tara Kurtz 2.0

Too expensive and disappointing. The nose suggests it's too young, with a harsh finish. The flavor is good, though.

Evan Sargent 2.8

A standard whiskey, but smooth enough for casual evenings.
