About this bottle

HINE Antique XO, initially introduced in 1920, originally contained eaux-de-vie from both the Petite and Grande Champagne regions. The current iteration exclusively uses Grande Champagne, with an average age of 20 years and a minimum of 10. The HINE Cognac house predominantly utilizes Tronçais oak, a slower-growing variety of Limousin oak, resulting in a finer grain and reduced tannin content in the final product.

Sybil Lunsford 4.0

A rich, XO Premier Cru made with grapes from the Grande Champagne area; a mix of over 40 different cognacs, aged more than a decade. It starts with spice & pepper with notes of grape, dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg & a gentle floral scent (lavender & jasmine); the palate is full & smooth with notes of Crème fraîche, toffee, perfume & spice; while the finish is long & subtle with notes of fruit, oak & vanilla. September 2017

Levi Bean 4.0

Sweet fruit spice. Exhibits some rancio character.
