About this bottle

Courvoisier introduced this cognac, which prominently displays its age, in the autumn of 2010, a move that was not common. The company also launched its 12 Year bottling at the same time. This expression is made exclusively with grapes cultivated in the Grande Champagne area.

Lucian Denney 4.5

One of my preferred cognacs; the only one I prefer over this is the Hennessy No 1 Blenders Edition. That said, my experience with expensive cognacs is limited, so I will revise this as I taste more. In summary, this was exceptionally smooth with consistent notes of dried fruit (raisin, orange). No harshness and absolutely no heat. I usually pair my fine spirits with a cigar, but that was ill-advised here as it wasn't the best pairing. This would be excellent after a meal when you're ready to unwind.

Could not locate Kelt xo cognac. I was given this for my birthday in 2015
