Tasted neat from a newly opened bottle: The aroma has notes of agave, citrus, grass, flowers, and herbs. Hints of tarragon and anise are present. A touch of clean ethanol keeps it bright but not harsh. Very pleasing. The taste includes sugar cane, agave syrup, citrus, tropical fruits, fresh green herbs like tarragon, cilantro, anise, and mint, a little vanilla and butter, and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is fairly brief, with mild sweetness, gentle cinnamon, and a touch of tartness. It has a moderately creamy mouthfeel and no burn. A fine example of a highland tequila. It offers all the pleasant, bright, and fruity flavors, then adds light herbs and a tart finish that introduces considerable complexity in just the right measure. Also a great value.

About this bottle
This is a classic Highland tequila example, originating from one of Mexico's highest elevation distilleries. The agave is sourced from some of the highest plantations in Jalisco, where the thin air, cooler climate, and higher pressure of the Highlands contribute to extended growing periods and pronounced citric and vegetal flavors.

Excellent! First, the familiar taste of tequila, but this time with a lot of intensity. The alcohol taste is very light, but it's not smooth either. And the aftertaste has strong black pepper and some citrus there as well. A well-balanced, excellent tequila.
It's clear, with a strong herbal and spicy aroma. It's mildly sweet and creamy, with a smooth, mild alcohol presence. Smooth and creamy, yet with interesting vegetal notes.
Very ordinary. Nothing remarkable Best enjoyed with food, not on its own.
Remarkably smooth with a flavor reminiscent of berries.
