Solid bottle, looks good on the shelf. The spirit itself presents notes of blossoms, orange rind, juniper, white pepper, spearmint, and lemon. The palate leads with prominent citrus peel and juniper, followed by hints of spice and assorted herbs. A distinctive taste that concludes with citrus pulp and zest, lemon grass, and cut grass.
French Gin? Intriguing, but sadly, not as smooth and elegant as I had hoped, aside from its appearance, naturally. The flavors and scents are delightful, though. At 44% ABV, the alcohol was far too prominent, but it's quite decent in mixed drinks, such as a French 75.
