About this bottle

Frida Kahlo Añejo Tequila pays tribute to the celebrated Mexican artist and style icon, whose former residence, La Casa Azul in Mexico City, is now a museum. This tequila is made from 100% blue agave. The selected agave plants are harvested and roasted for a minimum of 28 hours in an antique adobe brick oven. After being steamed and cooled, the agave is crushed and fermented. The añejo is then aged for at least three years in American oak casks.

Brantley Skelton 3.5

This potent agave spirit from Mexico spent 3 years maturing in American oak barrels. Its aroma is striking, with hints of agave, wood, fruit, herbs, and spice. The palate is full-bodied, bringing forth flavors of cooked agave and banana, culminating in a smooth, moderately long finish with notes of oak. March 2016 / April 2017

Rudy Bishop 3.8

Aroma of vanilla, agave, confectioners' sugar, oak, caramel, lime, and citrus zest. The palate is soft, with oak, caramel, barrel spice, agave, and vanilla. Very smooth, though a little soft.
