Expresiones del Corazón represents the collection of barrel-aged tequilas from Corazón Tequila, a brand produced at Casa San Matías Distillery in Jalisco. This tequila was matured for 24 months in barrels that previously held Sazerac Rye. It is bottled at 90 proof. This June 2018 release marks the fourth in the collection and is available nationwide in limited quantities.

Likely the finest tequila I have ever experienced. As a bourbon enthusiast with a wife who enjoys tequila, this is the ultimate combination. Wonderfully floral with aromas of dry agave and that touch of 8-year-old rye barrels. I mean, the complete barrel influence! Fantastic!
I'm new to tequila, but this was outstanding. I plan to try as many expressions as possible, and I will certainly return to this one eventually.
