About this bottle

The extra añejo tequila undergoes a maturation of over five years in used merlot and cabernet sauvignon wine barrels sourced from Napa Valley's Rombauer winery. This aging process imparts a deep amber color with ruby highlights. The agave used is 100% organic, and like all their releases, this tequila is 100 proof.

Rufus Chun 5.0

Excellent quality with notes of cooked agave, maple syrup, raisins, pineapples, sultanas, dark chocolate, honey, caramel, bananas, vanilla, peaches, apricots, almonds, cinnamon, chili, and coffee.

Doug Allan 5.0

A distinctive flavor profile, unlike any other Extra Añejo Tequila I've experienced. It's exquisite!

Nasir Zeigler 4.5

Distinctly different from most extra añejo tequilas. It's smoky yet incredibly smooth and flavorful.

Nigel Blue 4.3

Subtle smoky mezcal undertones. I definitely detect vanilla, peppers, and chocolate.

Wendy Arce 4.3

I absolutely adore this, though I occasionally forget it's tequila.

Liberty Goodman 4.3

A bit too fiery for my preference, yet it's well-balanced and sweet.
