About this bottle
Harvested in 1998 in Atotonilco, the agave for this tequila displayed low sugar content. Consequently, nearly all the spirit matured in American oak; 3% was aged in French oak. Three-quarters of the American barrels were previously used for bourbon, and the remaining quarter had held California red wine, alongside one former Chardonnay cask. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
