DRYCAT GIN SECO

This is the original DryCat recipe. It earned a Bronze Medal at London Spirits 2020, Silver at Spirits Selection 2022, and Gold at Gin Masters 2022. DryCat offers a bold and intricate sensory journey, presenting a gin with a distinct character. It features a delightful blend of tropical, Mediterranean, and Asian botanicals. This contemporary, aromatic gin possesses the signature DryCat personality. This unique combination makes DryCat ideal for a gin and tonic or your preferred cocktail. In mid-2017, two friends, one a designer and the other a photographer, decided to venture into spirit creation. Initially unfamiliar with spirits, one of them traveled to London, toured various urban distilleries, and was inspired by their city-based operations and diverse product lines. Upon returning to Brazil, they acquired their first still. A girlfriend served as the muse for the gin's name, with her cat becoming the brand's symbol. Given it's a dry gin, they combined the concepts to create "dry cat." During the development phase, industry professionals were impressed, prompting the partners to study and refine the recipe in São Paulo. Minor adjustments were made to arrive at the current DryCat Gin formula. In late 2018, they established the first gin distillery in Espírito Santo, initially on Santa Maria Island before moving to the vibrant Jucutuquara neighborhood. An influential investor later joined, significantly boosting national expansion efforts. Gilberto Lopes, with over three decades of experience at Hortifruti, the nation's largest fruit and vegetable chain, became involved. The operation now resides in a new, larger, and modernized facility in Monte Belo, offering expansive ocean views and numerous possibilities.
