Rating: 21/23 As this is intended for mixing, I will deviate from my standard rating format. I'll incorporate it into various cocktails to assess its performance. Remarkable! This, combined with Trader Joe's bourbon in a 1:3 ratio, significantly surpasses substituting it for Averna. I'm genuinely taken aback, especially since Averna is superb, and this is richer with less alcohol presence, yet possesses a substantially higher alcohol content than Averna. It introduces decadent cola and root beer notes that I find captivating. This 1:3 blend with the Trader Joe's bourbon is a truly rich indulgence. It does possess a slightly flatter bitterness than I prefer, but the sheer decadence is impressive. Hints of licorice and chocolate are certainly present. This is not lacking subtlety; it actually exhibits complexity across various taste levels. Incredible! This is a wonderfully decadent mixer that adds significant depth. I considered Averna excellent, but this surpasses it entirely! Truly amazing. Just how amazing? I rated Averna a 20, but I believe this is superior. Is it a 23? I have my doubts. Based on this single mixing experience, it's at least a 21, and I'm leaning towards a 22. Revisiting this, I'm somewhat hesitant about a 22, but it's definitively a 21.
