The finish has a lasting sweetness, bitterness, and a burn that could be from proof or spice. The aftertaste and bitterness level are comparable to fernet. Overall: Notes of dried fruit, honey, and fernet.

Intriguing and layered. The Amaro presents intense bitterness, reminiscent of Fernet, with prominent anise and savory characteristics. Its sweetness is notably subdued, and the finish is quite dry and puckering. Rumors suggest mushrooms contribute to its flavor profile.
