Ronald Vanhorn 2.5

It's richer and more bitter than the pasote Anejo, with a more viscous texture, but perhaps less complex. It offers more nuttiness, alongside grassy and cardboard notes, but less minerality. There is certainly some spice, and a prolonged sharpness emerges. It's decent, but not particularly exciting. The alcohol level is a bit high, which becomes quite noticeable.

Floyd Gant 3.3

Letting it rest for approximately five minutes. Appearance: A pale, sunlit gold color with no visible legs. Nose: Highly vegetal with hints of butterscotch and cane sugar in the background. Palate: Peppery with sweetness at the end, akin to licking a sugar cube; very thin, like water. Finish: Quite prolonged, may require a palate cleanse before switching spirits.

Ashley Washburn 4.0

Citrus and vanilla notes on the nose. A light lime taste on the palate and a smooth drinking experience. Quite impressed with the quality given the cost.

Eldon Beavers 4.3

A velvety texture on the palate with immediate pepper that transitions to cocoa, slowly fading with almost no heat in the finish.

Johnny Montiel 3.5

Notes of butter, spicy bread, and the essence of a close friend's skin on a damp day. This tequila delivers it all.

Marcie Hyde 3.8

Nose of vanilla, powdered sugar, and wood. Palate brings caramel, toast, agave, and vanilla. A peppery finish.
