Cazadores Añejo is a tequila made entirely from 100% agave, with the agaves sourced from the Jalisco Highlands. It is double-distilled in stainless steel and aged for slightly over a year in small, virgin oak barrels.

I'm a big fan of Cazadores. When I can't get the extra añejo (not available in Ontario, Canada), this is my preferred choice. It's like a good friend, reminding me of good times and making me feel good. It has some spice and agave, with caramel and positive feelings. Thank you, Cazadores!
Acceptable considering the price. It offers a mild, pleasant vanilla flavor initially, but the finish is somewhat unrefined. It has less of the vegetal notes found in some tequilas, which I prefer. I'll be curious to see how it performs in cocktails.
An intensely rough, vegetal aroma and taste, with underripe agave coated in an overly sweet flavor. There's some spice, but the strange cough syrup quality wasn't enjoyable for me.
Silky, sweet, and with a chocolatey undertone. It's enjoyable and extremely easy to drink. I would gladly have it again, but I'm uncertain if I'd prioritize it for my home collection.
The first sip presented as smooth with a touch of spice and profound caramel character. The second taste was rough. What changed? I should try it again and perhaps with ice.
Compared to the reposado, this añejo felt significantly richer, exhibiting sweetness and smoothness. The additional barrel aging benefited this tequila.
